Review import

Try the actual RosterField CSV/XLSX import and review parser in a separate, disposable sandbox.

Preview only — Publish roster is disabled. This demo has no tenant project, live roster, worker link, account, email or billing connection. Uploaded files expire after 20 minutes and are purged on the next visit or scheduled cleanup; do not upload real personal data. The demo limit is 2 MB, 300 rows and 90 columns (smaller than the signed-in app).

UPLOAD / REVIEW / PUBLISH

Ready for a final check

Check the entries below. This demo previews only; publishing is disabled.

About this section

This checklist points to decisions or possible exclusions in this upload. After a correction, Update preview runs the same parser used for publication. Publishing stays locked until required choices are confirmed and the preview is current.

3 personnel 12 daily entries 2026-08-08 to 2027-02-08

Preview checks are complete. Publishing remains disabled in this demo.

What will be published
About this section

This is a source-linked sample of up to 100 daily entries, not the entire roster. It uses exactly the same conversion as publication. Check names, dates and statuses. Use the source coordinate to correct a cell if anything is wrong.

Sample: first 12 of 12 daily entries. Use the source cell to trace or correct a value.

Dates and statuses found
About this section

Each dated cell becomes one daily status. Familiar codes are recognised automatically. Unfamiliar values are prefilled exactly as found so information is not lost. Confirm them or enter a replacement; suggestions show available codes. A blank mapping keeps the original value. Time-only cells must be mapped to a daily status such as 1 (onsite) or NS (night shift); the app does not publish shift times. Correct a source cell to remove a value intentionally.

Adjust import settings or correct a cell
About this section

Most imports need only the actions above. These tools let you correct the layout, encoding, date range or an individual source cell without changing the uploaded file. Update preview to apply your changes.

Text encoding (usually automatic)
About this section

Encoding tells us how to read names and other CSV text. Leave Automatic selected unless accented names or characters look wrong. Select the original export encoding and update preview to check the result.

Automatic supports Unicode and older Western Excel CSV exports, including Latin-1 spacing. If names look incorrect, select the original export encoding and update the preview. This choice applies only to CSV; XLSX handles text internally. Your original file is not changed.

Rows, columns and personnel identifiers
About this section

If the names, dates or counts look wrong, match the source rows and columns here, then update preview. Matrices can use source-position identifiers when employee numbers are absent. Shift lists need an employee identifier to connect repeated dates.

Automatic detection is recommended. For unusual worksheets, select Manual and enter spreadsheet row numbers and column letters.

No employee-number column? Leave it blank: a matrix can use ROW-8 for physical row 8, or COL-C for personnel in column C. Source positions are identifiers only for this upload, not links to people in another file. Rows without a name or any dated roster data, and totals/group headings, are skipped.

A name is required. Shift lists also need an employee identifier; matrices may use source positions. Update preview after changing a mapping.

Include older or future dates
About this section

Use this only when the normal date range excludes dates you need. Choose an explicit interval of at most 140 days, including both endpoints, and update preview. Dates outside the interval are excluded, not rewritten.

Choose any year, including older rosters. Both dates count toward the 140-day maximum. Outside dates are excluded, never rewritten. Update preview before publishing. Turning this off restores the normal configured limits.

Correct source cells (0 applied)
About this section

Use a spreadsheet coordinate such as C2 to fix a name, date or status without changing the uploaded file. A blank replacement clears that cell. Remove a correction to restore the original. Update preview after editing; use a revised file for more than 100 corrections.

Correct a name, employment number, employer, location, date header or shift status using its source cell (for example C2). The original file is never changed. A coordinate with an empty replacement clears that cell. Remove a correction to restore the original. Up to 100 literal corrections; Update preview before publishing.

About this section

This small source sample includes mapped fields, dates and corrected cells. Column letters and row numbers identify each source cell. Use the original spreadsheet for coordinates outside the sample.

Source headers and personnel
About this section

Check the source headers, personnel and dates. Scroll sideways to inspect the columns. Adjust the mapping or correct a source cell if these do not match your spreadsheet, then update preview.

Technical detection details
About this section

These are the layout and date limits used by the parser. They usually need no action. Use them to troubleshoot mapping if the preview is wrong.

Style: single header; date window: 2026-08-08 – 2027-02-08. No parser blockers remain.

Make changes, then update preview. Publishing is disabled in this demo.

Publishing is deliberately unavailable: this preview cannot create a project or worker roster.
